ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَآقُّواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَمَن يُشَآقِّ ٱللَّهَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

-Al-Hashr ( الحشر )

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

That is because they defied, they opposed, God and His Messenger; and whoever defies God, indeed God is severe in retribution, against him.
