Tafsir al-Tustari

And his wife…Umm Jamīl, …[will be] the carrier of firewood. It has been said that this means ‘the scandal mongerer’ (nammāma). ʿIkrima said, ‘She used to carry thorns and throw them down in the path of the Prophet .’
