He told them that they will lose the speech of the Real in the future (ājil), and they have no delight in living in the present (ʿājil). What they will meet in the Hereafter in the severe punishment by burning (ḥurqa) is on top of what they suffer in this world from absence and separation (furqa) from God, but their eyes have become weak so they have not perceived the painful punishment.
