Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
((We delivered them) from Pharaoh) and his folk who slaughtered their males and used their females as servants. (Lo! he was a tyrant) he was an arrogant transgressor (of the wanton ones) steeped in idolatry.
